Embassy Bank for the Lehigh Valley announced that it will be expanding its operations with a new office located in Macungie. Its latest addition will be located on Route 100/West Main Street between Gehman Road and South Church Street.
"Opening this location is a continuation of our commitment to serve the Lehigh Valley with true community banking," said Dave Lobach, Embassy’s President and CEO. "We currently have a number of residential and business customers in the Macungie area serviced by our Trexlertown office and our online banking options. This new office will provide even more convenience and allow us to serve this community more effectively."
Embassy has been active in the Macungie area as long time sponsors of Das Awscht Fescht, Cruise Nights in Memorial Park, Barktoberfest and the community Halloween Parade. That support will continue along with new ways to engage and support the community.
Embassy most recently opened an office in Nazareth in 2016. "The reception we received from the Nazareth community has been very positive. They are enjoying our hallmark customer service and different approach to community banking. We are excited to be able to bring that to the neighborhoods of Macungie as well," said Lobach.
Embassy Bank is celebrating its 16th year of serving the Valley in 2017. It has grown steadily since 2001 from one location and 12 employees to its current eight locations and 89 employees throughout Allentown, Bethlehem, Easton and Nazareth.
According to a report released by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, Embassy continues to be the top locally-owned bank in the Lehigh Valley and ranks number 6 overall with $882.4 million in deposits and 5.32% market share as of June 2017. Embassy has been named Best Bank in the Lehigh Valley by the Morning Call Reader’s Choice for the past 5 years in a row.
