Business Solutions Manager (Full-Time)

Job Summary:

Embassy Bank is seeking a full-time Business Solutions Manager to join our team. The Business Solutions Manager is expected to be a strong liaison between the business customer and the bank about Solutions sales and servicing. The Manager will be responsible for working with product Vendors on implementation of new technology along with resolving technical and system issues that directly impact Business Solutions Products and services.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Possess in-depth knowledge of all Business Solution products, services, and systems in addition to bank’s deposit and lending products. Recognize and act on opportunities in communication with customers to offer, explain, or refer additional products and services that will enhance the customer experience.
  • Maintain strong consultative relationships with business clients, particularly focusing on our key client base to ensure the growth of the business product portfolio.
  • Call or visit new and existing customers in conjunction with Branch Managers and Business Banking Officers to expand business customer relationships with sales and deployment of Business Solutions products and services.
  • Display leadership characteristics and aid in the training of others in the department and throughout the bank for Business Solutions opportunities and referrals. Provide specialized and individual training to Business Solutions customers and internal bank staff.
  • Develop and maintain all customer documentation, agreements, onboarding, and training material. Ensure compliance with regulations of all Business Solutions products. Implement policies and procedures to ensure all products/services meet regulatory requirements. This includes but is not limited to Documentation, Account and Service agreements, operational procedures, and annual reviews.
  • Analyze Business Solutions products/services, sales usage, and performance levels in order to implement effective solutions for improvement. Identify product improvements that may be helpful to our customers.
  • Resolve client issues in a professional and responsive manner, with a focus on higher level calls from customers who have questions or concerns relating to product, services, and the bank in general.
  • Vet new product/service vendors, manage existing vendor relationships, and function as the liaison between the bank and all business product/service vendors.
  • Keep informed of development trends, regulations, and compliance matters pertaining to Business products and services that the bank offers.
  • Represent the bank in various community- and industry-related activities.
  • Participate in all audits that include Business Products including but not limited to FDIC, State, internal, and external.
  • Present information in one-on-one, small group, and large group situations.
  • Stay current on regulatory developments and industry best
  • Ensure team has appropriate training and access to necessary tools.
  • Determine staffing and budget needs.
  • Oversee team and conduct annual employee assessments.
  • Attend quarterly officers’ meetings, after hours and off site.
  • Attend monthly bank wide team meetings at 7:15 am.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is preferred.
  • Seven (7+) years of experience in Business Solutions, Cash Management, Treasury Management or similar field
  • Knowledge of Municipal/Government banking along with PA ACT 72 requirements for collateralization is required.
  • Knowledge of all deposit regulations including but not limited to Reg E, CC, D, and Uniform Commercial Codes regarding negotiable instruments and bank deposits/collections is required.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and integrity.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, growing organization.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
  • Long periods of sitting.

  • Full-time, On-Site, Not Remote
  • Main Office- Bethlehem, PA Northampton County
  • Monday through Friday (after hours and weekends as needed)
  • Salaried – Commensurate with education and experience
