From May 22 through July 6, SteelStacks Campus is the place to be if you want to see courage, pride, and service up close. The 16th Annual Hometown Heroes Display, presented by Embassy Bank, will feature 2,000 banners honoring men and women from the Lehigh Valley who have stepped up to defend our freedoms.
This year is extra special because America turns 250! Right here in the Lehigh Valley, we’ve played a part in the story from day one. During the Revolutionary War, local rivers and roads carried vital supplies, and communities here supported the fight for independence. Fast forward to today, and you can still feel that same spirit of service and sacrifice as you walk among the banners, seeing neighbors, friends, and family celebrated for their bravery.
Since 2011, the Hometown Heroes Display has been a Lehigh Valley tradition. Families come back year after year, veterans see their service honored, and kids get a firsthand look at what real courage looks like. This milestone year, the display isn’t just about local heroes, it’s a living connection to 250 years of resilience, freedom, and community pride in our nation.
