A lifelong Lehigh Valley resident, Mike is a 36-year veteran of community business banking with most of that time as a key member of the community business banking unit at Embassy Bank for the Lehigh Valley where he now leads the team as Senior Vice President of Commercial Lending.
While Mike is familiar with all geographic and business sectors of the Lehigh Valley,his family roots run particularly deep in the Nazareth area where his father served the community as the Borough of Nazareth’s Chief of Police. Mike’s own passion for service is evident in his history of helping to build stronger communities through the principles and practice of true community banking.
In addition to multiple community engagements and volunteer positions, Mike is proud member of the Nazareth Area High School alumni network. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance from Moravian College and is also a graduate of the Pennsylvania Bankers Association School of Commercial Lending at Bucknell University.

A tireless advocate for his home community, Mike has more than 35 years of experience in community business banking, many of these with Embassy Bank of the Lehigh Valley where he currently serves as Vice President of Commercial Lending.
Shortly after graduating college in 1984, Mike pursued banking as a profession with opportunities to build both his career and his local community. He has been a leading voice for multiple quality-of-life initiatives in the Lehigh Valley and a mainstay of the Embassy Business Solutions team for more than 17 years.
In the community, Mike has been an active events volunteer, youth mentor and coach for Big Brothers and Big Sisters of the Lehigh Valley for nearly three decades. He has served in the same capacities for the Parkland Youth Center for more than 25 years.

While he is familiar with all regions of the Lehigh Valley, Gary’s primary focus is on serving businesses based in two of the fastest-growing sectors of Pennsylvania, Upper and Lower Macungie townships, as well as the Emmaus regional community. Earlier in his career, Brian worked for several larger corporate banks before transitioning to more community-focused institutions.
