Embassy Bank consumer and business debit cardholders have the ability to receive fraud alerts via text message to confirm activity on their card. Click on the questions below or view the short video for more information.

Once a fraud case is created, our fraud specialist team will send out a text alert message to the cell phone number on file alerting you of the transaction in question. If the transaction is legitimate, simply reply ‘Yes’ to have it processed. If it is not, reply ‘No’ – our team will freeze your debit card to help prevent further unauthorized activity. If you replied ‘No’ to a text alert, contact us during our regular business hours at 610-882-8800 to review any fraudulent charges and to order a replacement debit card.
No, as long as we have a cell phone number on file you are automatically enrolled in the service.
Simply respond to the text with STOP and you will no longer receive text message alerts for debit card transactions. OR contact us at 610-882-8800 and ask to be removed from the service.
Contact Embassy Bank at 610-882-8800 and ask to be added back into the service.
If you are enrolled in Embassy Digital Banking, log in and review your Settings to confirm or change your cell phone number on file, otherwise stop by any Embassy office location and one of our Personal Bankers can assist you in verifying and updating your contact information.
Yes, your transaction activity will continue to be monitored but instead of a text message, you will receive a telephone call.
The alert will say it is from Embassy Bank and will be sent from short code 37-268.
If the text is not responded to, the fraud alert system will contact you with a telephone call.
Embassy fraud alert phone calls will come from either 800-279-2674 or 844-682-4502. If you are ever unsure if a call is legitimately from Embassy Bank, hang up and call us at 610-882-8800 during our regular business hours.
To report debit card fraud outside of our regular business hours, call 800-262-2024.
