The United States Postal Service (USPS) strongly recommends that you don’t put checks in the mailbox.
- Remove mail from your mailbox promptly every day
- Deliver outgoing mail directly to the post office (inside) or hand it directly to your letter carrier
- Sign up for Informed Delivery to preview your incoming mail
- Join your neighborhood watch and local social media groups to spread awareness
- Promptly report any suspicious activity or theft
